Perfume Oil (oil-based fragrance)
These are blends of natural oils and safe non-oil formulas. Oil-based fragrances have the least chance of irritating the skin, as they do not contain alcohol. Oil is wonderful in that it creates unique compounds with the skin’s natural and unique scent more than any other fragrance form. However, such a scent dominates only on the skin and is not suitable for fragrancing fabrics.
Extrait de Parfum (spray extract)
Fragrance extract is a rich and concentrated form of fragrance (stronger than the perfumed and eau de toilette fragrances in the fragrance world). Together with oil-based scents, the spray extract is considered the highest concentration of fragrance that can be applied both to the skin and to unpretentious fabrics.
However, do not forget that each scent on the skin diffuses and lasts differently depending on the time of year, the intensity of the note palette, the environment you are in, or body chemistry, which plays a primary role in both the revelation, uniqueness, and sustainability of the fragrance.
